Designed around the person
An assessment comes
before a decision.
We discuss what support is needed and work alongside the relevant Occupational Therapist or care team when planning the installation.
The assessment considers the transfer locations, the room, the equipment and how the system will be used. We then explain the proposed solution and the work involved.
Start with the person and their support needs
Review the property and transfer locations
Agree the equipment and installation proposal
From enquiry to handover
A clear process for your hoist.
Step 1
Talk through your needs
Tell us about the person, the property and the support already in place.
Step 2
Assess the options
We review the location and the proposed equipment with the people involved.
Step 3
Plan and install
We explain the quotation, installation arrangements and handover for the selected equipment.
Which type of hoist should I choose?
That is established through an assessment of the person’s needs, the room and the intended transfers. We can explain the ceiling, wall-mounted and mobile options to discuss with the relevant care professionals.
Can you work with our Occupational Therapist?
We can discuss the assessment and proposed installation with your Occupational Therapist or care team. Tell us who is involved when you contact us.
What information should I send?
Describe the transfer that needs support, where it takes place and the people involved in the assessment. We can then discuss a site visit and the next steps.
Can you help after installation?
Contact our team about servicing, repairs or aftercare. We’ll discuss the equipment you have and the available support.
Let’s talk about what you need
Let’s plan the right support.
